Terms and Conditions
Last updated 8 July 2026.
1. The game
CRACKED is an online detective game in which every suspect is a language model you question to solve a case. By playing you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
2. Accounts
You can play the free cases without an account. Signing in with Google lets you save progress, appear on the leaderboard, and pick a display name. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not choose a display name that is offensive or impersonates another person. We may reset names that break this rule.
3. Free play and daily limits
Levels 0 to 3 are free. To keep costs sustainable, free players may start one interrogation per day. This limit resets each day. Limits are counted per account and per network address.
4. Payment and access
Unlocking the full game is a one-time payment of 9.99 US dollars, processed by Razorpay. It unlocks every case from level 4 to the finale, raises your daily limit to five interrogations, and doubles the questions in every case. The unlock is tied to your account. Prices and features may change for future purchases, but a completed purchase keeps the access it granted.
5. Refunds
Because the full game is unlocked immediately on purchase, the payment is non-refundable except where refunds are required by law. If a charge failed or you were billed in error, contact us and we will put it right.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or abuse the service, and do not try to bypass the daily limits or the paywall. We may throttle or suspend access that looks automated or abusive. The game is for personal entertainment only.
7. AI-generated content
Suspect replies and grading are produced by a language model. They are fiction and can be wrong, odd, or inconsistent. Nothing a suspect says is a statement of fact about any real person or event. All characters and cases are invented.
8. Intellectual property
The cases, characters, artwork, and code are ours. You may not copy or resell them. You keep no rights in the game by playing it.
9. No warranty and liability
The game is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental loss arising from your use of the game.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Continued play after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions? Use the contact link in the footer or write to us through the site.
